I’m Jacqueline Elaine Megna and JEM Design carries my initials and the names of both my late grandmothers. It also holds a second meaning: every home has a gem hidden inside it. Finding yours is the purpose of my work.

I pair an art and design background with years of project management experience. I’ve always found more creativity in making a house feel like home than in any blank canvas. I can see a room’s potential and help you realize it. Some clients want a simple design consultation with clear recommendations. Others want a more in-depth design plan with hands-on support. I manage light renovations, coordinate trusted contractors, source furniture and décor, and style spaces until they feel right.

For sellers, that means getting a home market-ready fast. My listings have consistently gone under contract in under 30 days, at prices that reflect the work. I understand the pressure realtors are under so I make the process smooth and low-stress. For homeowners, it means falling back in love with a space they’d written off, or making a new house feel like theirs.

Design is also about what’s happening in life around the room, whether that’s a move, a downsize, or an unexpected transition. I start every project by asking how you want to feel in your space. Then I get to work finding what’s already there and polishing it until it shines.
